1. Merchant identity

2. Service scope

AutoStat provides digital vehicle-history checks by VIN, access to reports, report packages and account-balance top-ups. Available content depends on the vehicle, its country of origin and the external sources holding information about it.

3. Placing an order

Before payment, the customer sees the report or package type, price, currency and service description. An order is sent for payment only after these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy have been accepted.

4. Payment

Card payments are processed securely by maib. AutoStat does not request or store the full card number, CVV/CVC or other card-authentication data. An order is treated as paid only after final confirmation from the payment processor.

After confirmation, the customer receives the main payment details on the return page and by email: order number, purchased service, amount, currency, payment date and transaction identifier.

5. Digital service delivery

Report generation starts automatically after payment confirmation and normally takes up to 1 minute. Purchased credits or account balance are added after payment confirmation. If an external source responds late, the processing status is shown in the account and the report remains linked to the customer.

6. Data accuracy and sources

AutoStat aggregates and presents information supplied by registries, providers and other external sources. We cannot create data that is absent from those sources and cannot guarantee the same amount of information for every vehicle. The report should be used together with a technical inspection and a check of the vehicle documents.

7. Refunds

A refund may be requested when a paid report generated no information. The request must be emailed to info@autostat.md and state the reason, order number or PayID, and the checked VIN. The request is reviewed after a technical check of the order.

A report containing available information is not refundable solely because the amount of data is lower than expected. This rule does not limit mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.

8. Customer account

Reports, credits and account balance are linked to the account used for the order. The customer is responsible for providing a correct email address and phone number and for keeping access to the account secure.

9. Personal data

Processing of personal data, technical security data and information required to confirm payments is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Complaints and support

Questions about an order, payment or report can be sent to info@autostat.md or raised by phone at +373 78 870 952. Include the order number, PayID or VIN so we can identify the transaction.

11. Document version

Current terms version: 2026-09-04. The version accepted at checkout is recorded with the transaction.
